We had a brilliant stay at the New Inn. We were there as we were exhibiting at a market at the Ellon Castle Gardens, which were just 2 mins away from the hotel. On arrival we got a lovely warm welcome and were told everything we needed to know about our stay and the area. As we would not make breakfast they offered to make packed lunches for us which was just brilliant. We also arrived after in the evening and they booked us into the bar for dinner which was delicious. Our room was immaculate, comfy beds, good shower and plenty of space. On the second night we hadn't booked dinner and even though the restaurant and bar was fully booked the staff went above and beyond to fit a table into the bar for us, exceptional service!! We would highly recommend this hotel as it is friendly, comfortable and a very high standard! Well done to the New Inn Team!

Super value for money, a really lovely hotel with parking at the back of the property. Wonderful food - the chef's homemade lasagne was brilliant. Amazing quality breakfast too with lovely staff at breakfast and lunch. We will definitely use this lovely hotel again.

Breakfast was excellent. Was leaving property very early on first day, with no option for breakfast at 6am, but that is fairly normal. If could have had a continental option, that would have been great. Cooked breakfast was really good. Very hot, and not greasy at all.

This property truly provides superior lodging. I stayed in several nice hotels in Scotland on this trip, and The New Inn stood out as the best. The common areas and room were spotless. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Everything was very pleasent and comfortable. We stayed In a room that was recently renovated, and it looked great and both bed and sofa were very comfortable. Shower was great - very good water pressure and a sophisticated mirror that thaws the condensation by itself and tells the time. Staff was very nice and helpful - in the hotel as well as the restaurant and bar. We had a blast at the bar. So yes, definitely will recommend to anyone.

The experience was really nice, the room was clean, very comfortable and excellent value of money. We had dinner at the bar, staff very friendly. Same to be said at breakfast and at check-in and check-out. Would highly recommend if passing through or for a work trip.

Everything was excellent. Good atmosphere in the bar Friday (quiz), Saturday (karaoke). Good food in the restaurant.

We stayed in the flat, it was comfy and had everything we needed. Great that we could look out onto the car park as well so we could see our bikes. Staff were helpful and polite. Food was great. Restaurant was busy so we had a meal in the bar. Breakfast was great. Very happy

Very pleasant atmosphere generally and friendly, helpful staff. The meal we had on Friday evening was of a good standard but the breakfast could have been better, I had to request the toast and apple juice I had ordered.

Stayed two nights while attending a family wedding, the room we had was very roomy and had a sofa which was a bonus, ate in the bar on one evening everything was very good, nice selection for breakfast, plenty room in the car park and very easy to locate on arriving in Ellon, would definitely stay here again if in the area.
